श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भव भय दारुणं।

नवकंज-लोचन कंज मुख, कर कंज, पद कंजारुणं॥१॥

हे मन, कृपा करने वाले श्रीराम का भजन करो जो कष्टदायक जन्म मरण के भय का नाश करने वाले हैं, जो नवीन कमल के समान आँखों वाले हैं, जिनका मुख कमल के समान है, जिनके हाथ कमल के समान हैं, जिनके चरण रक्तिम (लाल) आभा वाले कमल के समान हैं॥१॥

Shri Ramachandra Kripalu Bhajman, Harana Bhavabhaya Daarunam ।
Navakanja Lochana Kanja Mukhakara, Kanja Pada Kanjaarunam ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning: O mind! Chant names of compassionate Sri Ramachandra, who destroys the greatest fear of repeated birth and death. His eyes are like newly flowered lotus, his mouth is like a lotus, his hands are like lotus and his feet are like lotus with crimson hue.॥1॥

कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नवनील-नीरद सुन्दरं।
पटपीत मानहु तड़ित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं॥२॥ 

जो अनगिनत कामदेवों के समान तेजस्वी छवि वाले हैं, जो नवीन नील मेघ के समान सुन्दर हैं, जिनका पीताम्बर सुन्दर विद्युत् के समान है, जो पवित्रता की साकार मूर्ति श्रीसीता जी के पति हैं॥२॥

Kandarpa Aganita Amita Chhav Nava, Neela Neerara Sundaram ।
Patapita Maanahum Tadita Ruchi Shuchi, Navmi Janaka Sutaavaram ॥ 2 ॥

Meaning: His beauty exceeds innumerable Kaamdevs (Cupids). He is like a newly formed beautiful blue cloud. The yellow robe on his body appears like delightful lightening. He is the consort of the daughter of Sri Janak (Sri Sita), the embodiment of sacredness.॥2॥

 

भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश दानव दैत्यवंश-निकन्दनं।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कंद कौशलचन्द दशरथ-नन्दनं॥३॥

हे मन, दीनों के बन्धु, सूर्यवंशी, दानवों और दैत्यों के वंश का नाश करने वाले, रघु के वंशज, सघन आनंद रूप, अयोध्याधिपति श्रीदशरथ के पुत्र श्रीराम को भजो ॥३॥

Bhaju Deena Bandhu Dinesh Daanav, Daityavansha Nikandanam ।
Raghunanda Aananda Kanda Kaushala, Chanda Dasharatha Nandanam ॥ 3 ॥

Meaning: O mind, sing praises of Sri Ram, friend of the poor. He is the lord of the solar dynasty. He is the destroyer of demons and devils and their race. He is a descendant of Sri Raghu. He is of the form of concentrated bliss. He gives joy to Ayodhya like a moon. He is the son of Sri Dashrath.॥3॥

 

सिर मुकट कुण्डल तिलक चारु उदारु अंग विभूषणं।
आजानु-भुज-शर-चाप-धर, संग्राम जित-खरदूषणं॥४॥

जिनके मस्तक पर मुकुट, कानों में कुंडल और माथे पर तिलक है, जिनके अंग प्रत्यंग सुन्दर, सुगठित और भूषण युक्त हैं, जो घुटनों तक लम्बी भुजाओं वाले हैं, जो धनुष और बाण धारण करते हैं, जो संग्राम में खर और दूषण को जीतने वाले हैं॥४॥

Sira Mukuta Kundala Tilaka Chaaru, Udaaru Anga Vibhooshanam ।
Aajaanu Bhuja Shara Chaapadhara, Sangraama-jita-khara Dooshanam ॥ 4 ॥

Meaning: He wears a crown on his head, pendants on his ear and tilak (crimson mark) on his forehead. All his organs are beautiful and well decorated by ornaments. His arms reach his knees. He holds a bow and an arrow. He emerged victorious in the battle with demons Khar and Dushan.॥4॥

 

इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर, शेष-मुनि-मन-रंजनं।
मम हृदय-कंज निवास कुरु, कामादि खलदल-गंजनं॥५॥

श्रीतुलसीदास जी कहते हैं, हे शंकर, शेष और मुनियों के मन को प्रसन्न करने वाले, काम आदि दुर्गुणों के समूह का नाश करने वाले श्रीराम जी आप मेरे हृदय कमल में निवास कीजिये॥५॥

Iti Vadati Tulsidas Shankar, Shesha Muni Manaranjanam ।
Mama Hridayakanja Nivaas Kuru, Kaamaadi Khaladal Ganjanam ॥ 5 ॥

Meaning: Thus says Sri Tulsidas – O Sri Ram, the charmer of Lord Shiv, Sri Shesh and saints, reside in the lotus of my heart and destroy all the evils and their associates like desires.॥5॥

मनु जाहिं राचेउ मिलिहि सो बरु सहज सुंदर सांवरो।
करुणा निधान सुजान सील सनेह जानत रावरो॥६॥

जो तुम्हारे मन को प्रिय हो गया है, वह स्वाभाविक रूप से सुन्दर सांवला वर ही तुमको मिलेगा। वह करुणा की सीमा और सर्वज्ञ है और तुम्हारे शील और स्नेह को जानता है॥६॥

Manu jaahin raacheu milihi so baru , Sahaja sundara saanvaro ।
Karuna nidhaan sujaan seelu, Sanehu jaanat raavaro ॥6॥

Meaning: Sri Parvati says – The blue and naturally handsome beloved you like, will definitely be yours. He is an ocean of grace and is all-knowing. He knows your character and love.॥6॥

 

एहि भांति गौरि असीस सुनि सिय सहित हियं हरषी अली।
तुलसी भवानिहि पूजि पुनि-पुनि मुदित मन मंदिर चली॥७॥ 

इस प्रकार श्रीपार्वती जी का आशीर्वाद सुनकर श्री सीता जी सहित सभी सखियाँ प्रसन्न हृदय वाली हो गयीं। श्रीतुलसीदास जी कहते हैं – श्रीपार्वती जी की बार बार पूजा करके श्रीसीता जी प्रसन्न मन से महल की ओर चलीं॥७॥

Ehi bhaanti gauri asees suni siya, Sahita hiyan harashi ali ।
Tulsi bhavaanihi pooji puni puni, Mudit man mandir chalee ॥7॥

Meaning: Sri Sita and all her friends were delighted at heart to hear the blessing from Sri Gauri. Sri Tulsidas says, after worshiping Goddess Parvati again and again, Sri Sita returned home with cheerful mind.॥7॥

 

॥सोरठा॥

जानि गौरी अनुकूल सिय हिय हरषु न जाइ कहि।
मंजुल मंगल मूल वाम अंग फरकन लगे॥८॥

श्रीपार्वती जी को अनुकूल जान कर, श्रीसीता जी के ह्रदय की प्रसन्नता का कोई ओर-छोर  नहीं है। सुन्दर और मंगलकारी लक्षणों की सूचना देने वाले उनके बाएं अंग फड़कने लगे॥८॥

Jaani gauri anukool, Siya hiya harashu na jaaye kaheen ।
Manjula mangala moola , Baam anga pharkana lage ॥8॥

Meaning: Knowing Sri Parvati to be in her favor there is no end of happiness in the heart of Sri Sita. Flutter of her left organs(eye, arm, limb) started indicating the auspicious and blessed time ahead.॥8॥
